It was with a great pleasure and gladness to be at Mafi-Devime Outreach. It took place between 22nd to 27th December, 2020. The preparation was massive and the team was fully packed with zealous missionaries. The journey was all joyful and the collaboration was tight. The team-work was top-notch and the dawn and after evening-crusade prayer sessions complete. Our little children enjoyed their stay throughout the outreach period as they contributed in several ways for its success.
The indigenous reception was one of the greatest we have ever hard as missionaries or soul-winners. The people often visited us and would offer us coconuts and food items to support us. They supported us in several ways including fetching water for our domestic activities on daily basis. This kind deed gingered us to offer our all to them. Throughout the five active days of evangelism, crusade and other activities, there was no dull moment as the team was always poised to give its best.
Many souls were won unto Christ and the beauty of it was that, chains were broken and healing was established to them that believed the message of salvation. Disciples were raised and we still connect with them.
The Christmas festivity was celebrated with them as we shared our gifts we brought for them in the form of clothing, rice, oil, shoes and confectionaries for the children. Nothing was left undone as all of our plans were fully exhausted. The power of God was present and the whole town was turned for Christ. The joy and the fulfillment could not be measured. The people were surprised by our presence even though they were aware of our coming. Those with items of worship to strange gods abdicated them as they chose to lean towards Christ as the true God.
It was difficult for us to leave as the people were saddened by our departure. As part of our contributions to the wellbeing of the saved souls, we occasionally contact them to strengthen them in their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
